Dunkin' Run

Encouraging and enabling businesses and friends to come together on a larger-order scale through their very first mobile app.

 

With the “America Runs on Dunkin’” tagline as the strategic and creative anchor for the Dunkin’ brand, an integrated campaign was launched that celebrated busy, on-the-go guests, who relish their routines and get stuff done.

Further supporting the campaign from an omnichannel perspective, while at Hill Holiday, we set out to create the first mobile application for the brand: The Dunkin’ Run App

Birth of the
Dunkin’ App

The precursor to the popular Dunkin’ mobile app (Circa 2009) featured interactive alerts that were sent to a consumer's list of friends or coworkers, telling them when a trip to Dunkin' Donuts is planned along with a personal message inviting them to place an order online.

Since then, then the app has evolved to online ordering, rewards and more, but it all started with the Dunkin Run’ app.

We worked on the initial user experience and visual design as well as development. This would be the ground work for todays modern application which has over 10 Million Downloads.
